What should we do when we are redeemed but falls in sinning again?

When you’ve been saved (redeemed) by Jesus but still mess up and sin again, here’s what you should do:

  • Don’t give up or feel hopeless. Everyone makes mistakes, but God’s love is always ready to forgive you when you really turn back to Him.

  • Confess your sin honestly to God and ask Him to forgive you: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)

  • Ask God to help you change and avoid the sin next time. Trust His strength, not just your own. "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13)

  • Keep growing in your faith through prayer, reading the Bible, and being around friends who help you stay strong in Christ.

  • Remember, redemption means Jesus sets you free from the power of sin. Falling sometimes is normal, but God’s grace helps you get back up and keep following Him. "...though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes." (Proverbs 24:16)

  • Know that God is greater than the temptations. "Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." (1 John 4:4)

So, keep turning to Jesus when you slip, because His forgiveness is always there, and He wants you to keep growing and living for Him!
