How do I know I am saved?

You can know you're going to heaven by trusting in Jesus as your Savior and living a life that follows Him. Here are some simple signs with Bible verses:

1. You believe Jesus died for your sins and rose again:

   • "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

     
     

2. You’ve accepted Jesus into your heart and want to live for Him:

   • "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)

   • "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

     
     

3. Your life begins to change, showing love and good actions:

   • "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, because God's seed remains in them." (1 John 3:9)

     
     

4. You have a peace and hope inside about eternal life:

   • "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son." (1 John 5:11)

     
     

If you have these things, that’s a good sign you’re on the way to heaven!
